Personal Profile for

Ashley Judd
April 19, 1968
Los Angeles, CA

Section 1: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Sun in Aries:
You are a person who thrives on challenge, and you often
feel that you must battle your way through life, depending upon
no one and nothing but your own strength, intelligence, and
courage. You believe in being totally honest, true to oneself
and one's own vision and convictions, even if that means
standing alone. Honesty, integrity, personal honor, and
authenticity are your gods, and you have no sympathy for
weakness of character in others.

You crave the freedom to do things in your own way, and you
work very well independently. Cooperating with others or
carrying out another's will is not your style. You like to be
the chief -or to go it alone.

You love action and if others are settling down into a nice,
comfortable little rut, then you are always ready to stir things
up, do something new, make changes, bring in some fresh blood.
Routine and sameness are like death to you. You are not afraid
of trying something that's never been done before, and even
though you may be seen as a fool sometimes, you also discover,
invent, and initiate things that others will later emulate.
Taking risks and following your own star are the breath of life
for you, and you wilt (or get very frustrated and angry) if you
cannot do this.

You are spontaneous, impulsive, direct, enthusiastic, and
assertive. You believe in the power of positive thinking and
positive action, and you think of yourself as a strong person
-even invincible. You hate being ill or in any way in a position
of dependency. Accepting your own human limitations and
emotional needs is often difficult for you.

You are basically aggressive in your attitudes and have less
facility in the receptive arts of relating to others, picking up
subtle messages and nuances, listening, nurturing, and
harmonizing. Often you are so fired up about your own projects
or goals that you inadvertently run over or ignore other
people's feelings and interests. Being receptive and
appreciative of others' contributions, ideas, and feelings would
go a long way in improving your relationships. Your impatience
to get on with things causes you to be rather insensitive, and
to therefore alienate others unnecessarily. You also frequently
try to accomplish your ends by using anger or some version of a
temper tantrum. You would gain much by learning to slow down,
relax, and just let things be sometimes, but your energetic,
restless nature rarely allows you to do this.

Sun Conjunct Mercury:
You tend to see things from your perspective only and to be
rather subjective. You also enjoy talking and expressing your
views but you don't always listen as well. You have a clear
mind, a love of learning and new experiences, and need constant
mental stimulation and activity.

Sun Trine Jupiter:
You have big aspirations but do not struggle or labor to
achieve them. Your self-confidence and inner harmony attract
success and benefits to you in an almost magical way. Your
optimism and cheerful generosity also win you many allies and
successes in life.

Sun Conjunct Venus/Mars
Both sensitive and sensuous, you blend charm and energy. You
have a healthy sexuality and a good balance between activity and
passivity. You may be fond of singing, dancing, music and drama.
Romance comes easily to you, and your romantic relationships are
passionate.

Section 2: Mental Interests and Abilities
Mercury in Aries:
Outspoken and direct, you are always eager to express your
ideas and opinions and don't mind opposing the consensus and
stirring up a little controversy. You have fresh, original ideas
and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the
novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or
project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want
to. You are very honest, speak decisively and convincingly about
things you believe in, and are unable to pretend to agree with
someone if you honestly don't. You may be somewhat deficient in
tact.

Moon Square Mercury:
Mercury Trine Jupiter:
You have an ongoing interest in learning and expanding your
mental horizons. You enjoy traveling, philosophical discussions,
and exchanging ideas with those of different experiences and
viewpoints. Broad-minded and fair, you are well-suited to law,
consulting, diplomatic relations, and also business. You learn
quickly, and can pick up on a new idea or concept with relative
ease.

Mercury aspects Moon and Saturn:
Mercury aspects Jupiter and Saturn:
Although broad-minded and interested in the philosophical or
long-range implications of any plan (as mentioned earlier), your
mind is clear and practical as well. Your wide-ranging ideas and
interests are grounded by a sense of realism and order. At times
you may seesaw between your optimism and sense of larger
possibilities, and your skepticism and need for facts and
tangible proof.

Mercury Conjunct Saturn:
Your mind is serious and deep, and you will rarely offer an
opinion on any matter until you have thoroughly considered and
studied it. You have excellent powers of concentration and enjoy
studying or thinking deeply in solitude. You have an aptitude
for research or doing mental work which requires precise,
organized thinking, attention to detail, and a methodical
approach. You are conservative and something of a skeptic, and
may be narrow-minded and closed to new ideas, especially if
there is no concrete proof or scientific verification of them.
Socially, you are rather reserved, uncommunicative, and
uncomfortable with light, frivolous conversation.
Mercury aspects Saturn and Uranus:
You will notice that the description below contradicts some
of the statements made in the previous paragraphs. Above your
thinking is depicted as careful, conservative, methodical, and
possibly narrow or rigid, while the following information
characterizes your mind as quick and innovative. Both are true!
You incorporate both ways of thinking - the inspired, inventive
AND the deductive, ordered. Here is a description of the more
free-flowing aspect:

Mercury Quincunx Uranus:
Your mind works in a rather electric, inspired, sometimes
brilliant way, and you grasp new concepts very readily. However,
your retention may be poor, as you tend to leap from one idea to
another in a flash, and often without thoroughly digesting any
of them. Your mind may race so quickly that it is hard for you
to sit still for any length of time. You have a highly sensitive
nervous system and need a relatively calm, stable environment to
be at your best. Avoid overstimulating, frenetic places in order
to stay balanced.

Mercury aspects Saturn and Neptune
Although your thinking is precise and logical, as described
above, at times you can be quite the opposite. Periods of
absentmindedness, building castles in the air, or ruminating
over mystical, abstract, or imponderable subjects are also
likely, as discussed below.

Mercury Quincunx Neptune:
Vague, confused thinking which can lead to miscommunication
and misunderstandings can be a problem for you, and you have to
work at being as clear, honest and unambiguous in your dealings
with others as you possibly can. You tend, also, to "go off the
deep end" regarding spiritual philosophies, imaginative ideas,
or theoretical speculation which may or may not have any real
relevance or validity. Try to critically test out your ideas, or
seek out a person whose judgment and character you respect, to
use as a sounding board.

Mercury Quincunx Pluto:
You have a probing, penetrating mind and in your view,
nothing is as simple, innocent, or straightforward as it
appears. You may not totally understand the hidden undercurrents
you perceive, the secret machinations, the dark underside of a
person or situation -- but it intrigues you and sometimes you
can't stop thinking about it. Once your interest has been
piqued, you can become obsessed with getting to the bottom of
the matter. At times you make more of something than is actually
the case, like assigning dark, convoluted motives to a person
where none exist.

Mercury Conjunct Sun/Saturn
Your success in life comes through your own efforts, through
your ability to concentrate and organize. You have a strong
sense of self-discipline and carefully consider every move
before acting. You may have a difficult childhood because of
problems with your father.

Mercury Conjunct Sun/N. Node
You have a healthy, stimulating and encouraging family
environment. You love to exchange news and ideas with others and
may be especially fond of associating with young people.
Mercury Opposition Neptune/Pluto
You may have to deal with considerable nervous tension and
are inclined to see everything a little cloudy. Expressing what
is on your mind could be hard for you, and you could either
intentionally or inadvertently deceive others, or vice versa.

Section 3: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Venus in Aries:
Your love feelings and desires are easily aroused but it may
be difficult to sustain your romantic interest in a relationship
after the initial, exciting "chase and conquest". You enjoy a
partner who is dynamic and alive, someone with a strong
independent streak, and you do not like things to become too
peaceful or predictable in the love arena. You want to see
sparks fly once in awhile, even if that means instigating a
fight.

Venus Conjunct Saturn:
Intimacy does not come easily to you and you may appear cold
or unfeeling to others due to your emotional reserve and
caution. Perhaps due to painful relationships and separations in
your early life, you do not trust others very easily and it
takes a long time to take down all of your barriers and
defenses. You may feel that you have few friends or people that
really care about you. You need to learn to value and love
yourself more and to express your appreciation for others more
openly.
Neptune Conjunct Moon/Uranus

Section 4: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
Mars in Taurus:
Once you set your mind on a goal, your dedication,
determination, and commitment to it are extraordinary. You
pursue your ambitions tenaciously and will stubbornly refuse to
give up, let go, or be influenced in any way. Like Aesop's
tortoise, you labor patiently and steadfastly until you achieve
what you want -or until it is clear beyond a shadow of a doubt
that all is lost. You are a reliable, consistent, and productive
worker, and often shoulder more of the workload than your
co-workers, usually without complaint. The nitty-gritty work
often falls to you. You prefer a regular routine, with definite
hours and clearly defined responsibilities and tasks. In fact,
establishing a pattern or routine is very important to your
success because once you get started in a certain direction, is
easy for you to follow it through to its completion. Getting
started is more difficult. You have a lazy, comfort-loving side
and there is often a good deal of inertia for you to overcome
before you get going. Once you get a momentum going, your energy
level is strong and steady.
You are interested in concrete results and solid, practical
achievement. You need to have some tangible product or
contribution to show for your efforts, and cannot be content
with only intangible rewards (such as having a good time,
learning, or spiritual enrichment). Material well-being and
security is also a large factor in determining what you do. Your
stamina and persistence is your great strength but it can also
work against you; you can get caught in a rut and refuse to
seize new opportunities. You also tend to play it safe, and to
limit yourself in that way.

Mars Trine Pluto:
You have a strong sense of mission and you instinctively
know that to achieve anything great, one must eliminate
superfluous activities, and give oneself wholly to the goal one
wishes to accomplish. Your zeal, enthusiasm, and clarity of
purpose enable you to succeed and to achieve whatever you aim
for. You have a strong will, but you are usually quiet and
understated about it.
Pluto Opposition Moon/Mars

Section 5: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Jupiter in Leo:
You cannot tolerate smallness or pettiness in any form, and
you have a tendency to exaggerate. Also, you have a wonderful
sense of drama! You must live boldly and heroically. Otherwise
you feel you are simply existing and wasting your talents.
The desire for personal recognition - or even Fame - and a
need to do something you feel really proud of, motivate you
strongly. You have an unusual capacity for fun and playfulness
also.

Jupiter Square Neptune:
You have a need to escape from the demands of everyday life,
and reach out to something bigger, more exotic, more exciting.
Traveling is good for you. You may also daydream, fantasize, or
philosophize a great deal.

Section 6: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
Saturn in Aries:
You have difficulty asserting your will and desires
directly and openly. You also may suppress your anger and
aggressiveness. Developing self-confidence, courage, and faith
in yourself are important tasks for you.
Saturn Conjunct Mercury/Venus
Your attitude toward life is quite serious and you are very
thorough. You have the need to be by yourself and think out
everything very carefully before you take action. You may enjoy
doing some type of creative art work shaped from hard or heavy
materials.

Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you
instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a
mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo
because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction
you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater
awareness, and wholeness is also described.

N. Node in Aries:
Seeking interpersonal harmony, cooperation, and
togetherness, and desiring to please or appease other people is
very natural for you so much so that you accommodate them at
your own expense. When you are under stress, you tend to look
outside yourself for approval or answers, and you lean on others
too much. Therefore, developing self-reliance, and the courage
to look to yourself for your answers and forge your own path
through life is a key factor in development.
You are often tempted to be less than completely
straightforward about your intentions or desires, and you can
become enmeshed in a swamp of "little white lies" and evasions.
Radical honesty with yourself and others is the only way out!
This, however, leads you to confront some of your most deeply
ingrained fears, such as "what if "they" don't like me?" and
"what if I have to go it alone?".
Cultivate your ability to be assertive, to take initiative
and act on your own behalf. Directness and self-reliance are
keys.
The following are specific activities that will support you
in your growth. These may or may not feel natural to you, and
often there is some feeling of resistance or initial awkwardness
about doing these things, but they are important on your path to
wholeness.

N. Node Conjunct Mercury:
Learn to communicate and express yourself through the
written or spoken word. Study, learn skills, develop your
intellectual interests and capacities. Become involved in
sharing and exchanging information with others, and develop your
intellectual reasoning ability. Use your mind, your thought and
your ability to be objective. "Work smarter, not harder" might
be a motto for you.
Writing, teaching, recording, transcribing, dialoguing,
negotiating, mediating, communicating, or facilitating clear
communication are significant activities for you to pursue.

N. Node Conjunct Venus:
Give and receive affection, love, and pleasure (especially
using the qualities described previously). Learn to respond to,
appreciate, and create beauty, art, harmonious surroundings and
relationships. Be aware of aesthetics and do things in a
gracious, pleasing manner. Enjoy life, nurture friendships, and
cultivate your ability to love and to receive love.

N. Node Conjunct Saturn:
Develop self-discipline and learn to handle responsibility.
You may shoulder an inordinate amount of responsibility and
burdens which at times limit your activities and opportunities
in life. This is a maturing and ultimately strengthening
process, however. You are also likely to be given positions of
tremendous responsibility, whether you really want such job or
not, usually because you have made real effort and some sort of
substantial contribution.
There may be considerable obstacles in your path - more
adversity than others seem to face - and your task is to learn
to understand pressure and persevere.

N. Node Conjunct Mercury/Venus
You are very social, love artistic events and entertainment,
and have the ability to show your feelings without reservation.
You probably found joy in learning things early in life and keep
in close contact with your family and other relations.

Section 7: Generational Influences: Your Age Group

The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
Pluto in Virgo:
You are part of a 15 year group of people that are driven by
the need to find an ethical standard and a clear sense of what
is right and what is wrong. There is a subconscious drive to
straighten out all the world's evils and create a world of
perfect order. There is a feeling of repulsion to anything ugly,
dirty, or grotesque. Oddly enough, there is also often a
fascination with these very things that are so distasteful, and
often a feeling of hopelessness and despair about the world's
condition.
These inner, emotional and conflicting qualities are
reflected in the attitudes and life styles of your generation.
Most people of your age group are conservative and ethical, and
a small minority goes to the opposite extreme and relishes being
strange or unusual in appearance, and sloppy or even grotesque
in manners and appearance. There seems to be no middle ground
for your generation. Usually, the rebellious type of behavior
comes out during adolescence, and tends to subside thereafter,
and your age group tends to be very conservative in later life.
Your age group is not very good at compromising and tends to
have strong ideas about what is right and what is wrong. There
is a strong feeling that you must extinguish evil in the world.
Certainly, fostering good works is very commendable, but a
categorical and simple-minded response to complex issues is not
helpful. Your age group will undergo great transformations in
attitudes regarding Good and Evil and will swing to great
extremes. Your generation will also make great contributions in
the areas of medicine and nutrition, ecology, and education.

Uranus Conjunct Pluto:
You were also born during a period that lasted approximately
5 years and is characterized by extreme restlessness and an
impatient, dynamic attitude towards life. You are part of a
group of people who can be explosive and even violent in their
reactions to situations. You do not tolerate being restricted,
and your age group rebels with force and anger against
oppressive situations.

The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
Neptune in Scorpio:
You are part of a 14 year group of people that have very
intense psychic sensitivity and imagination. Your age group is
very attracted to the strange, weird, and unusual. The sense of
the macabre and bizarre is strong, and this is reflected in much
of the music, art, and fashions of your age group. Novels and
movies with mystery and chilling suspense are also popular with
your age group. Emotional depression, drug use, and suicide are
likely to be relatively high in your age group. There is also a
deep mystical sense, and Eastern religions and meditation are
very attractive to your age group.

Uranus Sextile Neptune:
You are quite open to psychic experiences and altered
states of consciousness, and do not have to work very hard to
achieve them. You belong to an idealistic, free-thinking group
of people who will advance the spiritual progress of humankind
as a whole.

What is New and Different in Your Age Group
Uranus in Virgo:
You are part of a 7 year group of people who employ their
skills and creativity to bring about a great deal of practical
reform in education, medical care, and other social services.
Your innovations are not radical or unusual, but they are
usually effective.
Your generation also has a curious mixture of both
conservative, ethical people, and rebellious, disruptive people.
There seems to be little middle ground for your age group, and
you swing to one extreme or the other. The conservative people
strive to reinstate strict moral standards, want to swiftly
punish criminal behavior, and strive to highlight the importance
of old-fashioned values in our lives, laws, and overall life
style. On the other hand, the rebellious people of your
generation are angry at the established way of doing things and
act in a defiant, crude, and coarse manner.
